The 1.7T mini excavator is the best choice for tight access pool excavation. It is 1,300mm wide, fits through most standard residential side gates, and has a zero-tail-swing design that allows it to work within 200mm of walls and fences. For extremely tight access (gates under 900mm), the 0.8T or 1T mini excavator is the only option.
