A 1.7T mini excavator is ideal for most fibreglass pool excavations. Fibreglass pools are typically 3–4m wide, which fits within the reach of a 1.7T machine. For larger fibreglass pools or harder ground conditions, a 3.5T excavator provides more power and bucket capacity.
